Los Gatos is home. Our shop is on Los Gatos Boulevard, a few minutes from Vasona Lake and the mouth of Highway 17. The town divides naturally for our purposes: the flat streets around downtown and the Boulevard, and the hillside above — Shannon, Kennedy, Blossom Hill and the roads climbing toward the summit.
Those two halves are almost different markets. Downtown and the older streets hold 1920s and 1930s cottages with small original garages, some detached and reached off a shared lane, with openings no modern standard fits. The hillside is newer, larger and steeper, with three-car garages, heavy custom doors, long private approaches — and a genuine wildland edge, where seal lines and gaps matter for reasons beyond draughts. Being based in town means we know which address is which before the truck is loaded.

Our shop is here, so Los Gatos calls are the shortest runs we make and usually the first of the day. On the hillside addresses we check the seal line and the gaps as carefully as the mechanism, because up there that is part of the job.
